Spacious, traditional glamping tents offer a comfortable place to relax and rest during your time at Speke’s Camp. Each tent features a large bathroom, complete with flush toilets and bucket showers, a desk and seating area, and a cupboard. In addition to the physical features, a personal room steward is assigned to each tent and will look after you during your stay.

Facilities
Located 10 minutes from the main reserve, Speke’s Camp offers privacy and an immersive safari experience. With no access to ‘on-tap’ electricity, the camp relies on a large solar system and backup generators. Even with its low carbon footprint and eco-friendly nature, there is never a shortage of power for electrical devices, lights, and cameras.
A large communal area offers the perfect place to relax when you’re not exploring the reserve. Mismatched sofas, Persian rugs, and traditional wooden furniture add to the camp’s endless character and charm. An exclusive-use game vehicle is always on hand to ensure the best game viewing opportunities – from dawn drives to sunset sessions, and everything in between.
Dining
During your stay at Speke’s Camp is an al fresco affair as frequently as possible – enjoy the sunset over the Mara River or out on the savannah while watching wildlife. For full-day excursions into the reserve, breakfast, and lunch can be packed into the vehicles thanks to portable fridges.
When at camp, breakfast is always all out with full English and seasonal fruits. At night, a three-course meal served under the starlit skies is always on the menu.
