One of the few accommodations in wild Kafue National Park, Busanga Bush Camp is situated on an island in a mosaic of seasonal floodplains and waterways - the Busanga Plains. The simple wood and canvas central camp, shaded by giant wild fig and date trees, has memorable views over the misty plains where great herds of puku, lechwe, and buffalo graze.
Honeymooners will love Busanga's private, romantic tents with their open-air bathrooms, wraparound windows, and frothy mosquito netting. The birdlife is spectacular here; spot fish eagles, huge flocks of waterbirds and waders, cranes, herons, and a plethora of other species on specialist birding walks, guided walking safaris, and canoe trips in season. Together with day and night game drives you’re guaranteed to spot incredible wildlife.
