Ideal for nature enthusiasts and safari lovers, The Bumbusi Wilderness Camp promises an authentic stay from an evergreen setting of charming stone and thatch chalets to game drives through Hwange National Park, spotting the Big 5 as you traverse the wilderness at Zimbabwe’s border. A blend of safari and history in remote splendor, it is truly a hidden gem.
You can follow the trail of black rhinos on guided walking tours or embark on night drives to catch glimpses of dramatic wildlife encounters, including some safari heavy hitters. When at the lodge you may find yourself surrounded by elephants at the natural swimming pool.
The camp is seasonal and is open annually from 01 April to 31 December. After a day of exhilarating and customizable activities, you can enjoy dinner and sundowners around the fire or relax on your private veranda, resting before a new day of adventure follows.
