Chiawa Camp is located on the banks of the Zambezi River, in the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park. The thatched and tented camp is shaded by a forest of mahogany and acacia trees and enjoys marvelous views over the Zambezi River Valley. Set out on day and night game drives, and guided walks to view lions, leopards, and buffalo.
Embark on river cruises or canoeing excursions to view elephants and hippos at close quarters. Anglers will have the opportunity to experience the thrill of catching (and releasing) the famous tiger fish. Alternatively, relax on the deck of your tent or in the camp's observation deck to observe the wildlife.
Chiawa has a fantastic position from which to enjoy kayaking along the Zambezi's easy-going canals; your guide will paddle you along as you enjoy watching elephants, water monitors, vervet monkeys and an endless parade of birds go about life on the riverbank. Chiawa also has a sizable swimming pool and an open-air gym with river views where you can spin off delicious meals and treats!
