Mhondoro Game Lodge is a well-appointed accommodation, built around the main reception, lounge, and dining areas. There is a swimming pool and sundeck, a well-equipped gym, and a wellness spa offering a variety of health and beauty treatments plus a safari shop for presents and mementos. Wireless Internet is available in the main lodge area. Childminders and private, child-focused game drives are available on request.

A popular feature is Mhondoro’s stargazing deck where you will be guided around the cosmos at night for a breath-taking experience.

Further adventure is on offer at the lodge’s excellent underground hide, designed to give you incredible views of wildlife at the popular waterhole while in complete safety.

Dining

You will enjoy early morning tea and coffee with a light breakfast before your morning drive, a hearty brunch or lunch after your return, and then an afternoon high tea. Chilled drinks and snacks are served on your afternoon drive, followed by a more formal evening dinner at camp.

Dishes combine a ‘healthy food’ concept with African flair and are served communally at the main lodge in an indoor or outdoor setting. You have the opportunity to enjoy private dining too should you prefer meals to be more intimate and romantic. All dishes are homemade at the lodge and, thanks to the lodge’s greenhouse, use as much home-grown produce as possible.
